my tamagotchi is sleeping

this might be a problem. i want to play with it NOW but its sleeping. when it wakes up, I will be sleeping. gah. maybe i should set its clock off a few hours.
anyway.

hi.
i could not find a job so have been rather bored lately. but not TOO bored. i wash the dishes and help out around the house/with my siblings since my dad's back gave out (herniated disc. disk. disc?) and i clean my room and go window shopping and harass calvin (he's still in school...) and play computer games. next week i'll start voice class at cerritos college, after that i have political science and marketing (next session).
i've been exercising lately. (gasp!) got a membership at the cpe fitness ctr, calvin and i go 2x a week to do cardio and some muscle stuff. i am so unbelievably sore right now!
the most exciting things that have happened so far this summer... eiichiro came over for a few days before peppy sumer session started, so i showed him around. he was so shocked when i took him to whitney, since he went to school in indiana. he thinks its WRONG how many asians there are there :3 hehe. i helped out with a concert at church, bought food for the band and re-labeled some water bottles for them. yeah i was THAt bored... but i got a shoutout from them during the concert because of the awesome water bottles haha. went to Taiko sushi with kenji kenny richard and timothy... its the real deal, not that korean/american sushi. it tasted exactly like the sushi i had in japan! not cheap though. :P

i realized/was reminded lately of how different we all are now. some differences are good, some are not so good, and some are just... different. like how tim learned to treasure sleep... the hard way. or how richard now talks like a white guy from the midwest xD. or that one girl who joined a frat and has wayy too much fun ;). or how david got all assertive :D. or me... i think the biggest change for me was learning to LIKE going out and trying new things. my adventuous side woke up i guess. but anyway. what does that mean for amoeba? it means we're still us, but we're now more grown up versions of ourselves. so when we all get back together it might be a bit challenging to adjust to the new dynamics of the group and to NOT REVERT back to the person you were last summer. (unless thats a better person - i hope not.) but i think at our core we are still who we were in high school - good people who share(d) good times. i think thats (mostly) what made us click, and i believe that is still the case. just dont be disappointed if things arent exactly how you remembered them - theyre not supposed to be. (<-- still learning this myself.)

Summer's End

Foo Fighters song. Chosen mostly because, I'll see you guys again at summer's end.

As a recap, I went to Austin, Texas on the 6th to stay with a friend who lives there. Went to comic book shops, saw his high school, meet his friends, played video games, mostly stuff I could do here. We went to downtown Austin at 4 am, walked around, met a crazy hobo, and went back to his house. I'd actually consider living in Austin if I needed to go out of state.

Asides from that, I've been chilling at home since school got out.

Went to sushi at Taiko with Kenny Yao, Tim, Kristen, and Kenji today! I had a good time; it was good food.

Yesterday was the first time I had ramen, went to someplace in Torrence I think.

Even though we're going our separate ways, I hope we can all manage to meet up every once in while. Going to college, not everyone out there is sincere. But our Amoeba has been there during high school, and I'd like to hope it'll be there for college.

Because it's hard to imagine life sans Amoeba.

jumping jumper

ankles strapped and secrets they watch
break you, wakeup, feels just like you're
leaving nothing, freely speed up
landing, stepping, jumping jumper

I NEED TO LEARN TO FOCUS. prioritize!

i need to rediscover the importance of academics and not have so much fun. LOL that sounds wrong, but true.
