Hey guys,

It's been a while. Things seem to have slowed down a lot, at least on the blog front. The weather's turned really nice over here. Well, today it's a whopping 93 degrees... so Scott and I are going out to Longwood gardens to admire the beautiful nature-ness and weather. Last night was pretty sweet. We sat out on my driveway and watched the stars. It was gorgeous. And we did some cloud watching too. This was at like 3 in the morning while we were doing laundry at my house, but we could still see everything. I was wondering why it was so easy to see the clouds, even during the dead of night. Is it because of the light pollution? that's really sad... while we were able to see a lot of stars (we had trouble finding the little dipper, but the big dipper was easy), it was still difficult to see a lot of them. Either way, it was a warm night and it was so nice just sitting out on the driveway admiring the stars. We even fell asleep out there... whoops. But I guess that's just one of my midnight adventures out here.

Updates on summer plans and etcetera. I got the position as a Russell Fellow and Orientation Assistant so I'll be living with Freshmen again next year and working at the University this summer! I'm really excited cuz this is my first real job. What I do as an orientation assistant for the Honors program is take the new honors freshmen around and help them plan their schedules, answer questions, tell them all about my exciting time at the university... it'll be a lot of fun. And then as a Russell fellow i'm basically the liason b/w the freshmen and the honors program so i remind them of requirements, plan programs for them, get them involved, etc. I'm looking forward to it. And hopefully i'll be getting a single next year! So no roommate drama to worry about.

Speaking of roommate drama, things b/w Kelly and I have sizzled to the non-existent. I've pretty much moved out of the room and i'm staying with Scott full time now. It's nice, being able to be with him as much as I am and not be sick of him. This summer we'll see how we do without each other. But i'm hoping to take him with me to California, so hopefully you'll all get to meet him! But no promises yet.

Other than that, things are going well. Classes end the 20th and then we're out of here by the 30th. It'll be a fun and busy summer, so i'm looking forward to it! I'll definitely be in California sometime in August, so i'll catch you guys then.
