Hi there people, I'm posting cuz I never post yay. Soooo for those of you who are wondering under which rock I've been hiding this whole time, (I've been hiding under a really ugly hot one by the name of riverside) and what I've been up to, I've been doing nothing (yay?).  So ummmm yeah, I took the re-take of the first calc midterm and got a B on it :( (I was pretty sure I had mastered the material..).  The average this time was like 60%, so I guess we're keeping these scores eventhough I'm pretty sure the average was brought up by the AP calc kids in our class who don't belong there... Umm my other classes are boring (art history and anthro >.<).  People went crazy over the whole new half-white president, happiest bandwagon I've seen in a while.  As for me, I was quite indifferent seeing as how McCain sucked too, I was just amused at the fact that the first time america elects a president in terms of their skin color they choose black haha.  So I don't know what Obama's victory will mean for me, as for now I'm hoping he doesn't screw up the whole healthcare thing up because I'm really tired of the idea that how healthy I'm allowed to be is entirely up to how much my parents earn (hey maybe I'll finally get to see a specialist for chronic chest pain? yay).  Ummm what else... O, according to my parents I am getting better at looking homeless and shady (no fair, super sensitive skin+ shaving= ouch). It smells here, like it stinks like hell and I'm kinda ocd so this isn't working out. I think it stinks beacuse people don't vacuum or clean, even eugene kinda keeps his trashcan (which is a giant cardboard box) completely full for like a week before he throws it out... I have three Midterms this week, and they all suck... O and people at Riverside are crazy cheaters (even better than whitneyites! *gasp*) I mean it's so smooth and casual, it's like they've been doing it for years (probably have..) and they like to cut the lunch line (which ticks me off... like large groups of people cut at one time).  Ummmm O another thing to rant about, so on the first day of class i went to dining services to apply for a work study job and they said they were already full but i've been noticing that there are atleast 2-3 new people every week working at our dining hall so the other day I go back there to ask them if the have jobs and they tell me the same thing and i tell em' "o ok.. cuz i've seen atleast a dozen new people" and they say 'o maybe your schedule didn't fit in then' which is a bunch of bull because I only hav 12 units (the least i can possibly have) but whatever, the word is a lot of pple already in dining services are kinda putting their friends in there so I get owned. The good thing is that my loan is running out thanks to the university thinking that it's funny to give $2,000 short of funds to someone who has an expected family contribution of $0, and even better news is that the university will give me less and less money as time goes on, so thank God for good old american ideal of screwing the poor (an oh so very christian ideal, of course).
