i'm sad about the way our country is going. theres so much democratic majority its scary. president, house, senate - and then the president will be appointing a bunch of new justices (for life zomg.) it makes me very fearful because our country needs checks and balances!!!
i also fear that i will be poor. change and equality sounds good, but it doesnt work out. the reason the doctor gets paid a lot more than the gardener is... because the services the doctor provides are worth more. if doctors get taxed so much that they can only keep what a manager would keep, then there is no point in investing tuition and years of study into being a doctor. might as well be a manager. so right now i feel a lot of despair for the next 2/4 years. i think that the country will change in a lot of ways i won't agree with.
hence my political depression. i am glad i can say what i feel to you guys even though you may not agree.
i'll feel better if prop 8 passes. if not, i think i'll go to bed early today....

what have i been up to? getting good grades, partaying with the trio+jake... we went to six flags and topanga mall. i went to H&M and bought stuff - i love EVERYTHING this season!!! i want to buy the whole store. <-- poor college student. no job. :P calvin and i were salt and pepper for halloween. i was surprised some people couldnt figure out what we were. it was an easy costume :D also lunched with tirona. oh i got into the shanghai study abroad program for next year! i'm looking forward to it! :) so i discovered that i act strangely with the trio/jake. most of the time its because of jake though. crazy white boy. last time we hung out at his dorm, we played the cup game. and then last night in eiichiros dorm we danced. the macarena. cha cha slide. jake taught eiichiro some of thriller. jake taught me ballroom cha cha. we also did weird things with our hands, tried to cross our legs in weird ways/do a pretzel... and it was totally fun! i stayed until like 11. i really like how its so much fun and its 1. not spending money and 2. totally clean. makes me feel like i do with you guys. so chill 8) and weird. and random.

calvin and i found a cheap, fun activity to partake in together! old photo albums! i was a weird kid. like WEIRD. i made all sorts of strange faces. but yeah i was also adorable, well-behaved, and funny. i noticed this time around that darin is in a lot of my preschool pictures. (darin lam.) hahaha and channing is seriously grumpy in ALL of them. what a bitter child. my mom wonders why i befriended her. and tim ho is in a couple. he was much smaller than i at 3 yrs old. :P jaundice babies ftw! it was fun going down memory lane. i probably had more fun than calvin did.... ^-^'
miss you guys! lets get together over thanksgiving and christmas break, neh?
