electric feel~
what happened in the last 14 days? phoooo.....
- i registered for classes. this was stressful. i woke up at 6:30am and was refreshing my registration page at 6:59. thankfully i got all the classes on my list. (of course, "list" refers to list #5. i had to revise a billion times as classes filled up.) next semester i'm taking greatbooks2, theater appreciation, intro to advertising, communication theory, and religion101. NO 8am CLASSES! < that is pure beauty, right there.
- i went to retreat with the garden church. it was pretty much in the middle of nowhere. but i had a really good time, met a BUNCH of new people (mostly from ucla), and enjoyed myself thoroughly. they play the insane-est games. we also did a musical skit competition, mine is uploaded on fb. timothy loves it.
- i played basketball with charles eiichiro and jihan. i suck so bad compared to them, but it was fun, i played hard (not like a girl.), and i was sore for 3 days afterwards. wimp.
- did well in school. i did decently well on Econ, so i am now done with that class. yay for no final! i am doing excellent in calc. my teacher really likes me because i am a good student. for one test, i overslept and got there half an hour late, and i still scored a 96%. the class avg was 50something%. that is why i am home right now. i got to drive back early since i dont have to take the retake tomorrow! nerd ftw!
- i went to the counseling center. i'm not depressed, i just had the blues. but it was so nice to just tell her everything, especially since she knows what she's talking about. :D
- i went bowling from 10pm-1am. (i now have sore arm, and sore left buttcheek[tmi sry]. WIMP.) and then eiichiro says 'i dont want to go back. lets do something else'. so they decide they want to go hookah - -' 2am, we went to this sketch gypsy cafe in westwood (SOUNDs sketch, doesnt it?) and they had hookah, i got a mango smoothie. but they brought me raspberry by mistake. so i got to drink both. :D i did try the hookah. i figured, why not. its legal and i definitely wont get addicted. my grandfather passed away from lung cancer of course i will not be a smoker. it was alright. i handled it well because since i have an inhaler i am used to having stuff in my lungs that is not... air. tasted pretty good i guess. but not worth the health risks. did you know that hookah is just as bad as, if not worse than, cigarettes? people think its less harmful because its filtered in the water, but that is a very common misconception. ironically, at the end of the night, i was the happiest out of the group. everyone else was lightheaded and felt like crap. :D we got back to school at like 4am hahaha.
- i went to Agape Lunch with the garden church. they basically split the whole church into smaller groups that are hosted for lunch by the couples. my host family made KILLER turkey!!! i hate turkey, but i discovered that its because turkey is very hard to make, so the only turkey i ate tasted bad. i also got to talk to a lot of the adults. they had very interesting things to say! most of the families/young couples are VERY successful in this church (own companies or work for fortune 500s), and the people i talked to were very willing to be resources for us young folk. yesssss :D connections!
- i did other stuff too. stuff that i am forgetting. stuff that is not reeeally worth writing.
oh. if you have a favorite flavor of odwalla, do let me know! i have a gajillion meal points i have to use up. (visit me so i can treat you!!)
peace out.
