oovoo... whoa...
in other news, i used to love my nephews...
haha jk. aidan and trevor, since i last saw them, have developed a god-awful shriek that makes me wanna [deleted], but other than that i still love them dearly. :D
ucirvine is oober great! i joined four clubs during welcome week, but plan to commit to only two because i still wanna carpool with thien tu and steven, and general meetings would otherwise get in the way of our carpooling schedule. there's a metro stop near my brother's house in irvine, so hopefully i'll be able to hitch a ride back to the station after meetings on wednesdays. i'm gonna do taiko drumming, hoo hoo hoorah!
i got through the first two days of class with relative ease. had lunch at pippin commons with jamie and aram on friday. i figured, since the optional meal plan (for off-campus ppl) cost me a freakin 400 bucks, i'd get my money's worth. sooo... i stuffed myself. result: i was sleepy during bio. i gave up my aisle seat to make a fellow classmate happy as a result; she really wanted "to be with her friends!", and our bio seats are permanent apparently, each group with six ppl. i kinda feel good about myself… but i also think i'll regret it later on test-taking day when i'll be really cramped. i blame the sleepiness.
i like studying outside. i haven't ventured to the other floors of the Langson library, but the first floor seems really stuffy. i can't concentrate well if it's stuffy!
oh, and i got my driver's license! that means i can start visiting ppl! …but until the braces come off, i'll settle for a laptop and oovooing with you guys.
until next time…
