Butterflies and Hurricanes.

The past week not much has happened, so that's why there was a slowdown of postage. The biggest thing I've done all week was rearrange our rooms. I'm now on the bottom bunk, in a room with all my roommates. The idea was suggested earlier in the month, but I didn't know them very well, so I decided against it. But now that I know them better, and the fact that it's like twice as easy to sleep in that room were big deciding factors. So now, my former room is now a living room of sorts, because our TV is in here, and all our desks are in here.

We go out to eat a lot, since the cafeteria food really is not filling. We went down to IHOP and had some food. Found out IHOP is only in America, and only called InternationalHOP because of the
different kinds of food, like Belgian waffles.

On Friday, we (my roommates and I) went out to sushi with some of our friends. Three girls, actually, but two are kind of crazy. In a somewhat scary way, not the way Ilean is. The food was okay, nothing super spectacular. They had a roll with cream cheese in it. It tasted good, but it was so weird. It was nice to just eat rice again, really. The ride there was heinous, as it was 6 people into one car, and that was not fun. Well, it kind of was, but I'd really rather not do it again.

Our room watched Equilibrium after, and that was pretty fun. I did have 3 tests on Monday and a paper due, so I spent the weekend studying and writing. There was to be a Foam Party, where they fill an area with foam, and we all go dance in it. But in comes Hurricane Ike, causing the event to be canceled. There was even a tornado siren! We had to go down to the lobby, but we went back to our room after 5 minutes. The next day,the winds and rain had pushed two trees down, and one of them hit at least 3 cars.
